Water, water everywhere…though not enough to share? Today, one in four people around the world still lack access to clean drinking water. For many, this basic human right remains out of reach.
It’s also an issue that disproportionately affects women, as water collection is often the responsibility of young girls - a task that can require hours of time and miles of effort.
As climate change rewrites our landscapes, altering coastlines and redirecting rivers, water access becomes increasingly fraught. How do we manage the needs of tomorrow as we move through uncertainty? Water security, climate action, and guaranteed access are crucial to building a better, more equitable future.
